Only being established in 2017, 7Brew has risen to become one of the fastest growing coffee chains in the world. Since 2022, 7Brew has experienced a growth of over 2000%. From 14 stores in 2022, to over 400 across over 30 states.
7brew isn’t like a regular coffee shop such as Starbucks or Dunkin’- instead it’s drive though only. Employees take your order on an iPad while you sit in line, like Chik-Fil-A. It’s fast but also helps the customers connect with the employees.
Most of the popularity comes from the amount of GBHS students making 7brew part of their daily ritual. Before school, the drive-thru is packed with students grabbing a coffee, energy drink, or shake to help them get though the day. 7brew has also helped by giving 13 new jobs to students.
“It’s just an amazing first job to have… I’ve learned a lot” says junior Ellynne Vatsolakis who has worked at 7brew since opening day.
The atmosphere also sets apart 7Brew from other coffee shops. Employees are trained to chat with customers, ask about their day, or compliment their car or clothes. It might not seem like a big deal, but it changes running an errand into seeing some friends at work.
The menu is another big reason for the hype. They still have the basics like mochas and lattes, but most students are drawn to the creative drinks. The Blondie has already become a fan favorite which is a vanilla and caramel latte, another top seller is the smooth 7, which combines Irish cream with white chocolate into a breve-style coffee.
Despite being known for their coffees, 7brew has a “7 Fizz” line made up of carbonated drinks flavored with your choice of over 20 uniquely flavored syrups. Other drinks include lemonades, teas, shakes, smoothies, or a “7 Energy” which is a caffeinated version of a “7 Fizz”.
“My favorite drink to get is the 7 Energy with blue raspberry, coconut, and vanilla because it reminds me of my favorite Redbull, Vanilla Iced Berry” says senior Sophia Tatro
7Brew may only be a few months old but it has already become a staple in Gulf Breeze. With friendly service, colorful drinks, and atmosphere that feels more like a community than just coffee, it’s easy to see why it’s quickly becoming part of everyday life.
