Aspirations in Computing Award Recipients
The Award for Aspirations in Computing honors 9th-12th grade women, genderqueer, or non-binary students for their computing-related achievements and interests. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and comput-ing as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, lead-ership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education. The Diversified Career Technology class of GBHS earns certifications
The Diversified Career Technology class of GBHS has earned certifications in Entrepreneurship in Small Business industry certifications. These students are in class for 4th period and then most of them go to work for their last two periods of the day. They earn high school credit for being off campus and working where they earn a paycheck!
