When Netflix launched its streaming platform, it revolutionized the television industry. With Netflix’s amazing success, many companies are currently trying to replicate their prosperity. Among them is Disney +, Disney’s answer to Netflix. Disney + is to be released on Nov. 12 this year.

Disney + will offer many movies and shows. They will have a monopoly on all Disney’s works, meaning that Disney + will be the only streaming service that offers Disney’s films and shows. This means that all Marvel, ABC, ESPN, Touchstone, Lucasfilm, A&E, History Channel, Lifetime, and Pixar movies and T.V. shows will only be offered on Disney +. Lucasfilm’s pictures include the Star Wars and the Indiana Jones series. Pixar’s films include the Toy Story franchise, “Inside Out” and “Up.”

Some of Touchstone’s movies include “Armageddon,” “The Waterboy,” “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” “The Village,” “Dead Poets Society” and “Unbreakable.”

Netflix has had an amazing success regarding their original content. Disney + is attempting to do the same thing with their “Disney + Originals.” These include all of Marvel’s shows announced at Comic Con and D23. That list includes “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” “WandaVision,” “What If…?,” “Moon Knight,” “She Hulk,” “Ms. Marvel” and “Loki.”

“The Mandalorian,” starring Pedro Pascal, is one of the most hyped Disney + Original on the list. It is the first live action Star Wars series, and it takes place after the fall of the Empire and before the rise of the First Order.

Star Wars fans will not be the only people excited for Disney +. “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” is set to please both fans of musicals and nostalgia. This documentary follows a group of high school students who attend East High School, where the original “High School Musical” was filmed. They are preparing for the school’s first ever production of “High School Musical.” These are just the highlights of the many movies and shows coming to Disney +, which means that Disney fans are sure to be entertained.

With all the companies and franchises owned by Disney, Disney + will have loads of content to offer their viewers. The Disney + originals are sure to impress their subscribers. Clearly, Disney + will ensure that fans everywhere will be able to stream their favorite screenplay.
