On December 2nd, 2023, a new cafe opened in Pensacola. Unlike your normal cafe, this
one is centered around cats, so you can grab a coffee and your favorite pastry, all while
playing and petting little purring friends.

This Cat Cafe is the first to open in Pensacola, making it a unique addition to anyone’s
bucket list. They work together with the “Panhandle Animal Welfare Society” and many
other organizations to help shelter kitties be adopted. This is a great way to find the perfect
cat to adopt, as you can book a 45-minute session for $15 to be able to interact with the
kitties and find your spirit animal.

Their Facebook page is called “Coastal Cat Cafe”, and their website, “coastalcatpcola.com”, is linked to their page, as well as on any search engine. They host many different events that are located on both their website and Facebook page. Their most recent event was their “Meowentines Day Event” where the cafe was decorated with pillow hearts and Valentine’s Day themed kitty toys and decorations. Currently, they have over 15 cats waiting to find their forever home. They are all very lovable and playful and willdo their best to steal your hearts.

They have a variety of different coffees, from catpuccinos to meowchas, and different
pastries like croissants and danishes. If people do not like cats, or are allergic, they can
still grab a coffee and snacks and watch the kitties through the glass wall separating the
cafe and cat area. If a person books a session, they can enjoy their coffee and snacks in
the cat area.

Treats are also available to buy at the front of the cafe, which you can take home for your
own cats or take in for the shelter kitties. They also have a wide array of cat themed
stickers, earrings, toys, and collars made by local artists in Pensacola. The Coastal Cat
Cafe has gotten much recognition for its unique features in a very short amount of time,
striving with 4.5k followers on Facebook and constantly being booked out with cat-loving
customers.

To book a session, simply go to their website and look for the button that states “Book
Meow”. All visitors must sign a waiver either after booking or at the cafe. Anyone under 6
years old is not allowed and anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. People
are allowed to bring two children per adult and groups of over 6 individuals need to book a
private session.

The Coastal Cat Cafe is filled with adorable cats and very kind employees. It is a place
every cat lover is encouraged to visit, and a great, reliable place to adopt your next favorite
