“I do not believe President Biden has lived up to the full duty as president”

In January of 2021, 79-year-old Joseph Biden was elected to be the 46th president of the United States of America. Since the very day he was inaugurated, there has been controversy surrounding his ability to lead the most influential country on earth.

On the first day of Biden’s presidency, President Biden undid former President Trump’s energy policy, by revoking the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline to lessen U.S. contribution to climate change. However, it also left thousands of Americans without a job and gave the United States with no other option but to depend on imported oil.

In addition, funding was also cut for construction on the border wall that also sought construction under President Trump. The reason behind the decision was that the wall was ultimately a waste of money. Additionally, construction was canceled to ensure the United States has a comprehensive and humane immigration system. This once again, however, leaves plenty of Americans without jobs and opened the floodgates for illegal immigration into the United States.

Just months after inauguration, President Biden committed his most controversial act: to clearing U.S. troops out of Afghanistan. The operation was an absolute disaster. Mobs of stranded Afghans even resorted to clinging onto cargo planes for dear life to escape the wrath of the Taliban takeover of the country. With that, the U.S. also lost valuable technology which was subsequentially captured by the Taliban.

At home, Joe Biden has also continued the issuing of stimulus checks to the U.S. citizens. Stimulus checks, with the purpose of stimulating the U.S. economy, has more or less failed to complete its intended issue of a shrinking financial system and has only grown the large debt the United States has. Inflation also skyrocketed with consumer prices rising 7%, the highest increase since 1980.

One area of his presidency that he is excelling in is the administering of Covid-19 vaccines. Three quarters of the United States population has at least the first dose of the Covid vaccine and 63% are fully vaccinated. None the less, the U.S. has reached far over eight hundred thousand Covid related deaths.

Biden’s approval rating has severely dropped from 65% to a shrinking 42%. From the evidence provided I do not believe President Biden has lived up to the full duty as president, on the other hand Joe Biden has three more years left in office, and weather you love or you hate him, if he does poor or great, the only people feeling the effects are going to be that American people.
