As the Dolphins close out their season, they look to go out with a bang. Freshmen girls suffered a 1-0 defeat at home. While the girls Varsity overcame West Florida’s Varsity 3-0 on Senior night. Varsity played Niceville and won 2-1 and JV were victorious with a 1-0 victory. Meanwhile, the boys Blue and Gold game will be pushed to next Saturday as the Boys JV will take on the Freshmen boys. The delay is due to lack of players and Covid issues.

Girl’s freshmen, JV and Varsity all have done outstanding this year. Time after time the teams have overcome big hills but have suffered a fair share of games. The girl’s freshmen team’s standing record is 5-2-3 overall but have about 2 games left. Their previous game was against West Florida and lost 2-1 and are still yet to beat their team. Jv has an overall record of 6-3-3 and still has 2 games to be played before the season is over. Madi Sloman won Player of the Match award. Varsity’s overall record is 10-3-1 previously beating West Florida 3-0.

Addie Stikeleather won Player of the Match the previous game.

Boys Freshmen, JV and Varsity have all played their hearts out this year and give the crowd goosebumps after every game winning goal or win. Freshmen’s overall record is 6-1-1 and are looking forward to the Blue and Gold Game against their personnel JV team. The JV’s overall record sits at 7-2-1 and has a couple more games yet to be played. Varsity has been playing at an extremely elevated level of performance and are on a hot streak hopefully to make a playoff push. Their record right now is 13-1-3. Anthony Ciccarello won Player of the Match award.

As much as we do not want the dominance to end, it is coming to a stop very soon for the Freshmen. Coach King said, “I am incredibly pleased with the work the boys have put in so far this season. We have had a few obstacles, some injuries and games not going our way, but I am confident we are building in the right direction to make a strong playoff push.”
