The Gulf Breeze High School boys golf team has played excellent golf since their season started this year. In the most recent tournament at the Tiger Point Golf Course, the Dolphins played the Navarre Raiders.

The Lady Dolphins have also succeeded. They are undefeated, which is an amazing feat. Most recently, they beat Navarre and Milton. This tournament was held at Hidden Creek Golf Course in Navarre. The Lady Dolphins are led by Taylor Reeves.

The members of the Dolphin golf team have many duties they must fulfill. The Lady Dolphin golf team has eleven members, and they must work very hard to succeed in their sport. They must attend four practices a week. These practices are on Mondays through Fridays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. They participate in one to two matches each week.

Golf matches and competitions are a very important to members of the golf teams.  Holland Davidson, a member of the girl’s golf team, stated that “[The girls golf coaches] check us out at 1:30, and for away matches, we ride away together in the same car.”

These matches take about three hours. This

means that the golfers much must have great endurance to play these competitions.

All the members of the girls and boys golf teams share a very close bond. As stated before, they ride in the same car when the teams go to away matches. They participate in many practices together. The golf team also participate in a variety of team bonding activities. For example, the girls

golf team took a team visit to Walmart after one of their matches.

The members of the golf team must be committed to their team and their sport to succeed. They must attend many practices and matches.

The girl’s golf team has not been beat yet. Both teams have played great golf and will continue to throughout the year.
