Santa’s coming to town! And Gulf Breeze is ready. With lots of events lined up for the holiday season, the Christmas cheer is all around. Small businesses and stores are diving right in and getting into the spirit.
Summer and fall went by in a blink. Halloween and Thanksgiving have flown by, but this town is excited for what is coming. The Christmas festival on Dec. 14th was a great kickoff for the season. Held at Faith Baptist Church, very family friendly and a wonderful way to connect. Down the highway Gulf Breeze offers a Christmas Zoobilee, a way for the kids, parents, and animals to all celebrate the holiday together while vendors have a chance to promote their products as customers stroll through the zoo. At the Rec. Center in Gulf Breeze Proper, the Jolly Holiday Christmas Market took place, Dec. 7, so hopefully you got your gifts while you could. The vendors there offered unique trinkets and nick-knacks that are great for family or friends.
On a more traditional note, classic Christmas trees. The Optimist Club of Gulf Breeze sets up trees for sale at the Gulf Breeze High School field house. This sale will last from late November through the holidays from 9 am-5:30 pm on weekends and 2:30-5:30 pm on weekdays!
Who does not love a warm cup of coffee during the holiday season? Time to finally pull out that Christmas mug you got last year. Inner light crafted some of the perfect specials for this time: Christmas chai, eggnog latte, mistletoe mocha, and Grinch matcha. These limited flavors are a must-try up until December 25.
And who does Christmas the best in Gulf Breeze other than the local shop Pizzaz? They have eight different custom trees: the Merry and Bright tree, Tartan traditions tree, Christmas traditions tree, sweets tree, Coastal tree, Ballgown tree, and lastly, their Sugarplum Dreams tree. They also sell a bunch more décor and merchandise. Need to do some last-minute decorating, Pizzaz. Last minute gift shopping, Pizzaz. They have it all.
A Gulf Breeze Christmas signature, though, is Santa’s Firetruck drive. Every year on Dec. 10, Santa rolls through Gulf Breeze Proper in a fire truck with lights and sirens as he tosses candy canes. Do not miss it!
