Pedro’s is a new hit Mexican restaurant in Gulf Breeze.

   I went to Pedro’s last week and it not only had great food but was also an amazing experience! Pedro’s opened in the area recently after being in the process of being built for well over a year. Upon entering the restaurant, we found that it was remarkably busy for a Thursday night, however we were able to be seated almost right away after a noticeably short wait.

   Pedro’s, while very tasty and efficient with amazing service, didn’t start off on a good note. While construction started well over a year ago, they only opened recently due to many delays.

   The host welcomed us warmly and brought us to our table by the window. The atmosphere on the inside perfectly matches the style of the restaurant, from the wall décor to the music it was all on-point. There are many beautiful wall decorations, paintings, and murals.

   While it was a bit noisy on the inside the tables were spread out enough to allow everyone to have their own conversations without taking over the surrounding tables. All of the wait staff were very friendly and accommodating.

   “It was so fun and I loved the friendly atmosphere” said Leah Feitshans a freshman at GBHS.

   Our food was ready very quickly considering how busy the place was. All of the food was very tasty, from the chicken enchiladas which came in a “build your own” style, to the Massive Burrito plate. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and quality of the food.

   “I loved it! The food was really good!” Said Brody Mills.

   Overall, it was an amazing experience and I definitely recommend Pedro’s for anyone who is looking for a fun new experience close to home.
