A new addition to Gulf Breeze has made it’s arrival! Scooters Coffee is located at 122 Gulf Breeze Pkwy where Taco Bell used to reside. The new, and a bit unexpected, Scooters Coffee has made its arrival, and people are talking. The general opinion of Scooters is a fairly good one, the prices are relatively cheap, and the coffee is said to be decent. The Scooters Coffee in Pensacola seems to match this idea, the reviews say that their coffee and food is nothing spectacular. Although this can be detouring, there are a fair few reviews that say they had good, quick service with adequate coffee.
Scooters Coffee has been around for about 25 years, first opening in Bellevue, Nebraska, their goal was high-quality drinks, speed of service and a “BIG smile.” While this does seem like every goal of any coffee shop, the emphasis on the smile is intense. In almost every review in multiple Scooters locations, one of the first comments is the friendly smile that they are greeted with. One of the main attractions to Scooters is its most popular flavor of coffee, the “Caramelicious,” which comes hot, iced or blended. The drink is made with rich caramel sauce, “world-class espresso” and milk. To pair with the most popular drink is their pastries which are all said to be quite popular, this includes their Caramelicious muffins, blueberry muffins and cinnamon rolls.
Scooters sources their coffee beans from the top 10% of specialty coffee beans through deep-rooted working relationships with coffee farmers around the world. Scooters house blend is a medium roast coffee with hints of molasses, dark chocolate and berries. Of course, they also serve light and dark roasts along with the classic americanos, lattes, and cappuccinos.
A main feature of the coffeehouse is the fact that they are a drive-through only establishment, meaning there is no sit-in seating inside the building. This gives some piece of mind to local coffee shops like “The Gulf Breeze Shop” just across the street in Innerlight, as well as Starbucks right down the road. A popular place to do homework or study for school is inside cafes and coffee shops, which would not be possible at Scooters, so this would not deter customers from other coffeehouses. This new addition to Gulf Breeze has been patiently awaited by many living here, and their coffeehouse was certainly busy opening day!
