“Devious licks” is the latest TikTok challenge, forcing students to steal random school property — in some cases phones, keys, staplers and pencil sharpeners. There has even been a report of a bathroom door gone missing! But why? It’s just a matter of time before this trend becomes dangerous – like the crate challenge. While trying the crate challenge, someone actually fell on their neck and died. TikTok is fine for funny dances and comedic jokes, but any challenge that forces you to steal or do something dangerous is just plain stupid. YOU ARE NOT COOL and you will probably get in trouble – as some people have already been busted for staplers and pencil sharpeners. Let’s stop before real vandalism starts.
