Creativity and food are a great combination. Sweet Pizza crust coated in garlic butter, rolled up in balls, filled with mozzarella, and dipped in marinara sauce. It is a delicious dish, made in different shapes, and made with only the five said ingredients.
All you need is a melted spoonful of butter, ground garlic to put in the butter, two Pillsbury canisters of pizza crust, seven mozzarella sticks, and some herbs to put on top with shredded parmesan.
- Preheat the oven on bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit and start cutting the mozzarella sticks into inch long cubes. It can be easier by placing many sticks together and then cutting them up. Make sure to use a sharp knife! Dull knives are much more dangerous than sharp knives.
- Now, take the canister of pizza dough and open it up on a lightly floured cutting board.
- Take off a piece that can comfortably be made into a ball in hands, then place the mozzarella piece in the middle. Wrap it around the mozzarella and pinch the seam while twisting.
- Press the seam down and place it on a baking sheet (or aluminum foil), seam down in the pattern you want. Repeat this with all the other pieces of dough. Try not to make the dough too thick around the mozzarella, but not too thin either.
- Make sure all of them are touching. Mix the melted butter and a considerable bit of garlic powder. Using a brush, brush on the garlic butter evenly over all the balls. Sprinkle the parmesan for extra melty.
- Place the pan into the oven for 15 minutes or until golden on top. Careful not to get burnt when placing the pan in the oven!
- Take the pan out and it should be okay to serve immediately. Do not worry if there is mozzarella spilling from the balls, that is okay! That’s bound to happen. Brush on more garlic butter and sprinkle Parmesan (again) for more cheesy.
Serve with marinara sauce and it’s perfectly prepared! A perfect dish for the family and the season, warm while the outside is cold (well, as cold as it can be in Florida.) Melty goodness for the whole family to enjoy. The recipe leaves enough left-over ingredients to make it again fairly easily.
With five ingredients and around 30 minutes of remarkably simple movements, the family can bond while listening to music and making tasty food this season!
